We’re looking for a Video and Effects Editor to join us on a full-time basis: a creative person who feels comfortable working within a tightly-knit team, is willing to learn new things, works on their own initiative, is open and flexible, has a solid work ethic and is able to work within deadlines. Role description

The video editor will work closely with the director, the producer and other members of the production team to bring a vision to life and enhance the visual appeal and storytelling impact of the content. The creative person will be responsible for assembling and editing video footage to create a coherent and visually engaging final product. This role involves selecting and arranging shots, trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, effects, and sound elements, and ensuring the overall flow and pacing of the video align with the intended message or story.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in video production workflows and technologies, from (pre- all the way to post-), including editing, graphics, effects, colour correction etc. The candidate should be proficient in video editing software, ideally Premiere and After Effects. Previous job experience in a similar post is considered an asset.

Qualifications

Candidate should have at least MQF level 4 or higher and be fluent in Maltese and English is a must. Other languages are considered an asset.
